![]() This position will be accessible to their assigned Region to implement and maintain the Compliance & Privacy Program and to provide guidance to hospital and clinic management teams. The Regional Compliance & Privacy Officer is responsible for driving implementation of Steward's Compliance Program at the hospital/clinic level. This position will be based at one of the hospitals in the assigned region and will require some travel to the other assigned hospitals as well as other Steward locations. The Regional Compliance & Privacy Officer needs to be a person of high integrity, and any other duties assigned should not conflict with the Steward's compliance program goals and objectives. This position reports directly to a Regional System Deputy. Experience in the healthcare operations and/or technology.The Regional Compliance & Privacy Officer is a member of the OCCP with general duties and responsibilities related to being the focal point for implementing Steward Health Care System's (Steward) Compliance & Privacy Program for the specified Region.Experience utilizing Lean/Six Sigma concepts. ![]() Strong analytical ability in discerning priority and non-priority issues and making decisions from a number of alternatives based on data and logic.Ability to generate executive-level presentations in PowerPoint and Visio.Knowledge of clinical quality measures and behavioral health tactics to improve patient outcomes.Ability to manipulate and present data in Excel at an advanced level.3+ years of project management experience, healthcare setting preferred.Bachelor’s Degree required Master’s preferred.Additional responsibilities as needed based on business need.Ensures vendor compliance with contractual obligations and optimizes use of vendor services and capabilities. Oversees implementation and management of vendors associated with program projects.Identify policy gaps, coordinate reviews/updates, coordinate implementation/training, and communicate changes. Collaborates with Compliance to manage Policy & Procedure documents.Translates business requirements into operational projects and data/reporting requests and prioritizes needs to ensure appropriate and timely solution implementation.Proposes solutions/changes to existing processes by analyzing problems and opportunities for improvement, evaluating cost/benefit, making recommendations, and executing a plan. Identifies opportunities for automating manual processes and improving workflow efficiencies.Supports development of appropriate mitigation plans for programs that are failing to meet KPI targets. Reports on Clinical Quality & Health Equity program performance weekly and monthly, ensuring appropriate talking points for the given audience.Works collaboratively to develop new standard reports to inform business decisions around allocation of resources to the assigned projects. Builds and maintains trackers, workflow diagrams, job aids, resource documents, and other documents/files in support of Clinical Quality & Health Equity programs.Uses data, evidence-based techniques, and business (contractual) priorities to determine how to best address performance improvement opportunities.Facilitates and/or creates all project related materials including roadmaps, project plans, training plans, and other materials required to ensure the cross-functional teams stay aligned to the joint purpose of the project. Works collaboratively to get leadership approval for project objectives and goals. Responsible for all aspects of performance for assigned projects.Incorporates health equity into existing quality programs and workflows through iterative PDSA cycles to meet contract requirements.This position will be responsible for project planning, data acquisition, tracking, and reporting operational efficiency compliance reporting and communicating the performance/progress of the program. Primary responsibility will focus on meeting key performance measures as defined by EOHHS - MassHealth Medicaid program. Position Purpose: The Program Manager, Clinical Quality & Health Equity is responsible for supporting the planning, designing and implementation of key health equity quality projects including both behavioral health and non-behavioral health focused initiatives through collaborative efforts to coordinate care between Steward network physicians and Steward hospitals.
